Built by Deltaga Boat Works in Surrey BC known for building heavily constructed fishing gillnetters and trollers to withstand the harsh marine environments in the northern latitudes. She is a one of a kind boat and is the only Deltaga 37 built as a leisure pilothouse trawler.
Her hull is solid un-cored fiberglass (greater than 1-1.5in). Considered “Bulletproof.”
Her engine is a strong running naturally aspirated Cummins V8 Diesel.
Cruising speed 6.5-7knts @ 1800-1900rpm burning 2-3 gph.
She carries 220 gallons of Diesel and 200 gallons of water in SS tanks. Additional 40 gl SS day tank feeds Dickerson marine oven/stove by gravity feed.
Garmin Chart Plotter/Radar on adjustable custom aluminum arch.
SS Isotemp 6gl water heater (2021).
Jabsco manual marine head+ plumbing+tank 25gal (2024)
2017 Norcold ac/dc refrigerator.
Double birth in the bow with single birth in the main cabin. Kitchen settee makes into a double. Sleeps 4-5 comfortably.
Very reliable, but needs some TLC on the exterior. Needs new paint, the windows need rebedded, it likely needs some new wood around the windows. Last haul out was 2020 where it got two coats of paint on the hull.
She is moored in Ballard in fresh water, and has spent about 2 weeks in the salt a year to cruise around the San Juan’s.
Small oil leak when running (very small).
I would not hesitate to take her to the islands tomorrow.
Dinghy davit but no dinghy included.
Moorage is possibly transferable, but the marina is under new owners/management so I’m not certain.
