Condition Used – good With trepidation, it’s that time. Tahna is up for her new loving steward. She was ship captain owned by a man on Bainbridge Island who was retiring and leaving the state. Very similar to CHB 34’ and the like. I will try and list what I can off the top of my head but best would be to schedule a time and come have a look. - 1979 North Sea Trawler with 124hp TDM-40A Volvo Penta marine diesel with 1935 hours. - 12k in new canvas in 2023 which hasn’t seen the sun yet. - 10k in maintenance in May 2025 including bottom paint, new hoses, all fluids, impeller, bow thruster bearings and rebuild, etc. - Helm Garmin chartplotter new in 2025. (Has screen mirroring so you can view chartplotter on phone or iPad anywhere on boat) - FULL SURVEY! From the best in the PNW Mr Baird (shameless plug - he really is the BEST!!) - 700k replacement value (no that’s not a typo!) - 11 Ton solid glass hull. - Galley sink, stove, hot water work great! - NorCold Fridge and Freezer also work great! - New house batteries 1/26, new starting battery 3/26. - Ready for the diesel or hydronic heater of your choice! (I used a small generator and electric) - Boathouse included, will not separate. Marina lost its lease and it may still be operating after 9/31/26 but unknown at this time. It’s being included for free as-is. Moorage is ~$750 (electric not included, runs $10-$15). - Boathouse is right next to the maintenance shop and shower, bathrooms, and laundry. - This is the BEST location in Tacoma - you can almost watch the Dune concert series from the boathouse (75 yards away) - point defiance is right there, Ruston waterfront has all the shops and food you could want. I used this as a place to stay though note - this is NOT a liveaboard slip. (What I did though never posed any problems and it was knowns I was staying onboard and the folks are all super nice!) - I used her as an apartment in Tacoma. My kids are now off to college and driving and I live 1.5 hours away. - If I were keeping her, I would enjoy the boathouse and do any wanted upgrades or repairs in the nice dry boathouse (she’s ready to go now!), enjoy the south puget sound this summer, and this fall make more long term plans for her.
