NEW YEAR - NEW PRICE HIN# FYC32125L193 "Eden" is a fractional rig sloop built in 1993. We purchased her in 2011 and have kept her in the water in Port Orchard for most of the time since then. She is blue-water capable, but that was never our passion. We have taken her to Canada and south to Olympia. The San Juans were fun and access to the Seattle waterfront, at Bell Harbor, was easy and comfortable. She has a rock-solid fibreglass hull and a new Beta 20-hp engine. Bottom paint has been kept up, and there have been no blisters to deal with anytime we pulled her out of the water. Electronics were all replaced in 2023, including a 12-inch Chart Plotter, Radar, GPS, Fathometer/Knotmeter/Sea Water Temp probe, AIS. Raymarine throughout except for the Vespers AIS. A Walker Bay 10-foot dinghy is hanging on the davits though the picture shows an older Avon RIB. I always tell people that seven "very friendly" people can sleep aboard, and you can do anything in the cabin that you can do in a hotel room, except watch TV. In 2025 the two 12V deep cycle batteries were replaced with Dyno FLAs. There is an Espar diesel fired heater for keeping the cabin warm when needed. The water heater, electric/engine coolant, was new in 2014. There are two large hatch covers and a smaller one over the head. Both large hatches have had their acrylic replaced. The sails are original, but in 2011 the full sail battens and the slides were replaced. People have asked and I had forgotten. Yes, there's a spinnaker, and it's a beauty. I did not use it often.
