Trim System: Lever-style quick trim for fast bow positioning. 2005 Honda AquaTrax F-12X (3-Seater) with a built-in GPS system. This model is called the F-12X GPScape and allows for navigation and waypoint storage. Let’s be real though, my family never ever used this. Reboarding Step: A folding step is included for easier reboarding from the water. Engine: 1235cc, 16-valve, four-cylinder, turbocharged, intercooled engine producing 165 horsepower. 2-seater is super aggressive and will throw unsuspecting new riders at speed and at idle, but it’s the most fun ski I have ridden. 3-seater is much more stable yet is as quick as the 2-seater having the same engine, it just can’t corner like the 2-seater. You have to try and get dumped on the 3-seater. So, I rode the 2-seater, and my wife rode the 3. On camping trips, I would tow kids on the 3-seater all the time. These skis have never seen saltwater and mostly been towed behind my RV to Potholes for the last 10 years. Of course they have seen Tapps, American and Alder Lake, one of my favorites. They have both had fiber glass gouges and been repaired. I have never seen water in the engine compartment. I change the oil and filters every year, add Marine STA-BIL fuel stabilizer at the end of the season and seafoam on that first tank of the year. They both got new plugs this year. Each had their gas tanks changed during a Honda recall years ago; South Bound Honda did the work. Titles in hand.
